Last week students from Year 9 and Year 10 visited the Youth Village for their Retreats. This is the first time that many of these students have been able to experience the facilities at the Youth Village and for some it was also their first residential. We'll have some more stories soon with a few comments from some of the students who took part but for now why not take a look at the YMT page and leave your comments for them?

We like to get together and make things happen yes? Well how about this for a news story...

A Christian rock band called Delirious, who actually split up about a year ago, could be heading for the top of the charts this Easter but only with our help. The song 'History Maker' has been chosen as part of a Facebook campaign by fans of the band and now over 50,000 people have joined the group to help get a Christian song to number 1 for Easter 2010. Here's what the campaign says:

"This is a trumpet call to united all online Christians throughout the UK to make history. Put aside talk of bunnies, chocolates and egg hunts this Easter and let's hear the message of Jesus Christ sweep the airwaves as we take Delirious to the No.1 Spot!"

So if you want to do your bit then download the song from Amazon or iTunes or any other music service before Saturday night to take part!

A theme of our weekend in Ampleforth was looking at how our fears can hold us back from what we want to do or who we want to be. Have a look at this clip from Coach Carter where Timo Cruz quotes the words of Marianne Williamson's poem 'Our Deepest Fear':
