IXth Hour

Calling all young people! The first IXth Hour event for 2010 takes place on Sunday and we are offering FREE transport to anyone who wants to go.

For those who don't know, IXth Hour is a music event aimed at people between 13 and 20 although other people can attend too. This Sunday the event takes place at Hope Church in Sunderland with doors opening at 6.30pm.

Tickets are only £5 so anyone interested should contact Jeremey or your parish core group rep ASAP!

Comfirmation and IXth Hour

The young people in some of our parishes have been busy lately, taking part in a couple of events following their confirmation in November.

Some of the young people of St Joseph's and St Cuthbert's parishes enjoyed a weekened in Ampleforth recently. They were led by Fr Bede, one of the Benedictine monks at the monastery and the feedback was great with many young people saying that it was an enjoyable experience and really good fun all round!



A group of young people from some of the different parishes across Hartlepool also attended 'Ninth Hour' at the Oakwood Cetnre in Eaglescliffe which again was a great success although we would love to see even more people get involved next time!

Bethlehem... in Hartlepool!

On the Sunday before Christmas a group of children and parents set about building Bethlehem in St. Joseph's Church! A great time was had by all and the finished product was greatly appreciated by the parish as a whole. All-in-all it was an excellent way to help our children prepare for Christmas. Year 11 Retreat
