Our Mission Cross has been visited by children from St. Teresa's, Sacred Heart, St. Bega's and St. John Vianney's primary schools. Now it's St. Cuthbert's turn to hold what was a beautiful little prayer service around the cross. Every class had written prayers on a footprint which were stuck onto the cross during the service so that the people of the parish can join in praying with them. Mission here we come!

We were a bit thin on the ground due to the England match but we weren't going to let that stop us. We had a quiz and lots of games all to do with the Longest Day. Do you know how long is the fur of the cat with the longest fur?

Three Graduates of Hartlepool Youth Ministry were at the heart of the Diocesan Festival this weekend volunteering their many skills to help things run smoothly. We are so proud! Pictured are Danny,  Andy and Eleanor along with Elena who perhaps has a little catching up to do.!

An ecumenical Prayer Festival staged at Victoria Park, home of Hartlepool United Football Club provided the opportunity for Hartlepool Youth Ministry's first stadium gig! We sang 'Be Still for the Presence of the Lord' and 'Majesty' to much acclaim and had a wonderful time doing it. Many thanks to everyone who came along! Another life-changing experience in the breathtaking setting of the Isles of Mull and Iona, with the wonderful Iona community. Eleven young people and 5 adults shared in an adventure that none of us will forget, learning about ourselves, each other and God in ways we had not quite expected! And yes, that is the Balamory bus!
