St Cuthberts Youth Group Summer Fun

St. Cuthbert's Youth Group had a busy summer holiday this year. First, in some very unsummer-like weather they took part in the Stockton International Riverside Festival Community Carnival, setting the parade on fire with their virtuoso samba drumming. Then Jack went on pilgrimage to Walsingham (and he let some older people come with him too)! Finally, they went to Whickham Thorns Outdoor Activity Centre for a day that was both scary and fun. After all that, they probably need another holiday!

Diocesan Altar Servers Mass

Altar servers from St. Cuthbert's, St. Patrick's and St. Teresa's all attended the Mass at the Cathedral on Saturday for Diocesan altar servers. It was great to see so many young people who serve their parishes faithfully coming together to celebrate. A big thank-you to all of them!

Resourcing Youth Ministry

On Saturday a group of adults and young people attended the 'Resourcing Youth Ministry' conference organised by YMT.

With so much to see and do it was hard to cram it all in, but between us we came up with some great ideas for Youth Sunday and attended some inspiring workshops on prayer, scripture and CAFOD.
