Hi2H Tandem Ride: No time for lunch.

This is East Sleekburn at about 100km on Day 2 and we've just decided we're not going to stop for lunch. Jane's flapjacks and Explosade is all we need!

Hi2H Tandem Ride: End of Day 1.

We're at Warkworth having done 70km and we're calling it a day. Jane is going to drive us over to Morpeth where Fr. Lawrence has kindly invited us to stay at St. Roberts. We'll be back tomorrow morning.

We're in the lovely village of Embleton, the weather is glorious and we've done 50km. Time for an ice-cream!

Hi2H Tandem Ride: This is it!

We've driven up to Holy Island and it's now time for the hard bit! There's a few nerves but the weather could not be better as we head out across the causeway. Let's hope the wind is behind us as well as St. Aidan!

Holy Island to Hartlepool on a Tandem: Getting ready for the off

Needing to raise £2,500 to subsidise our Family Retreat we thought Fr. Adrian and Jeremy should ride a tandem from Holy Island to Hartlepool. It seemed like a good idea 6 weeks ago but we're not so sure now!

Here we are about to set off. It's great to have the support of so many people, as well as the indispensable Jane as backup driver!
