Round three sees NORTHERN PARISHES and ST PATRICKS/TERESAS battle it out in the final but there was an unexpected twist with the English Martyrs team failing to win against a team of girls!

1:30
Time for a break in the competition and plenty of people are milling around now enjoying the sunshine. The young kids are enjoying the bouncy castle while the rest of us are watching the bands perform on stage, what a talented group of lads this lot are.

1:00
Round two sees ENGLISH MARTYRS beat WASHINGTON in the final with the Northern Parishes team finishing third, St Cuthberts 4th and St Patricks / St Teresas 5th.

11:50
WASHINGTON take the lead after the first event! The first round was a hotly contested affair filled with controversy after the judge accidentally poured out some water from the Northern Parishes leaving the way clear for Washington to take the lead. Honourable mention to the English Martyrs team who managed to get no water in their bucket at all!

11:20
Competitors and supporters are gathered near the main arena ready for the Tyre Challenge. Who will manage to carry most water around the arena out of the Hartlepool or Washington teams?

11:00
The teams are ready! Thanks to all those who are taking part today and may the best team win, now let's get it started!

9:40
Nice and hot out here for those who are setting up!

8:00
The sun is out and the preparation is about to begin for a great day of friendly competition here in Hartlepool. Members of the team will shortly be setting up for the event but if anyone thinks they've missed their chance to be part of it don't worry. You can still turn up and pay £1 on the gate to get in between 11am and 4pm. You will also be able to see highlights of the day here on the blog and by following us @hpool_ministry on twitter.

Check back for more updates later!
