Triduum - Good Friday

Today is the second day of the Pascal Triduum, the day which we call Good Friday. Today we recall the passion of Jesus through our readings, his crucifixion and death. The statues in our churches are covered and no candles are lit at all. At 3pm this afternoon when we begin the Good Friday service the churches will be in darkness. During the service today we also venerate the cross by kissing or touching the feet of Jesus.
